STEP 1:
OUR NATIVE ENGLISH-SPEAKING AGENTS WILL ARRANGE A CALL

 

Simple and effective communication is a vital tool when purchasing property in Mexico, and we want our clients to feel totally at ease throughout the process. Accordingly, all of our licensed agents are native English speakers – as well as being experts in their field, of course. As soon as you have made contact with us, an agent will call you at your earliest convenience to find out your exact needs before getting to work in finding your dream property. We have personal, direct contact with every one of the developers here in Tulum, giving us access to every single property and ensuring we receive exclusive projects before they are even released into the market.

STEP 2:
LET’S FIND YOUR DREAM PROPERTY

 

Unlike most realtors in the area, we do not work on behalf of the developers but represent you, the buyer, instead. Following up our initial conversation, we will show you everything that matches your requirements – including exclusive new releases unseen by other buyers – before working alongside you to narrow down the selection, going into greater detail to find your dream property and offering our expert, impartial advice.

STEP 3:
CLOSING

 

With our help, buying as a foreign investor is a simple process. We will prepare the OTP (Offer to Purchase), negotiating the best price for your chosen property and setting out the terms. We will also help you to choose from our selection of highly reputable, English-speaking law firms, who will then obtain your Fideicomiso. This is the bank trust required by all foreign investors purchasing real estate within the restricted zone (within 100km of the borders and 50km of the coastline). As you are the beneficiary, the trust will remain in your control, allowing you to lease, sell or bequeath the property as you wish; it is simply held on your behalf by the bank. Your chosen law firm (buyer’s attorney) will represent you the whole way, and review your promissory agreement before closing the deal .

We, your real estate agents, will remain your principle guide along this short and simple journey, being on hand for support whenever needed and, together with the law firm, we will provide all correspondence in English.

STEP 4:
WE ARE STILL HERE EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE BOUGHT YOUR DREAM HOME!

 

For us, the journey does not end at the mere closing of the deal. We will still be at your side until you are 100% settled in your chosen destination. Should you wish to rent out your new property, we will find the best property management company for the job; when you need to furnish your recent acquisition, we will point you in the direction of the best furniture stores; and if you need help with obtaining visas or decide you would like to reside in Mexico permanently, we will help you find a native English speaking lawyer who can make this happen.
